Detailed Description

Opens a device function file for write access.

Parameters

[in]	fileName	Name of device function file to open
[in]	fileType	Type of device function file
[out]	fileId	Unique index (handle) for the opened file
[out]	err	Error flag

The extension of fileName is used to try to determine the file type if fileType is zero (unknown type). If this does not succeed, a simple text file will be opened.

Note

If the specified file already exists, it will be replaced.
